Getting Your House Ready To Sell

If you're thinking of selling your house, one relatively small step you can take to liven it up and make it more attractive to potential buyers is to give the carpets a good clean up.
House buying isn't all about first impressions but they certainly go a long way. Anyone coming to view your home will be looking at it with a very critical eye and if they are greeted by a dirty hall carpet, or a stained sitting room carpet, then they'll immediately be thinking that if they buy the house, then they'll need to replace the carpets and if they have to do that, they'll be looking to recoup the cost from the initial asking price.
So, don't hand your potential buyers a bargaining chip. Spend a few quid getting the carpets cleaned just before you put your house on the market and put yourself in a stronger selling position.
